A small planet located in the spill of the Medusa Cascade has evolved over the millennia to be a hub for galactic travel. The planet itself has a ring of star gates hovering around it while it's three moon's gravity field keep the gates in a constant - slow spiral. On the surface of the planet 5 main Star Gates linked to various Coordinates act as the planet's main traffic gates. Illryis is a world that relies heavily on Magi-Tech, or magical technology, for it's survival while still being rooted deeply in old traditions. The economy struggles with this fact during the turn of the New Mecha Era. Space and multidimensional portal travel has recently expanded the small planet's influence as they act as a type of Peace Hub in the Multi Dimensions; anchoring one universe to the next and casting a wide network of prosperous times to all they align with. Planets are bartering peace treaties and negotiations for territory rights with the Illryians for trade in their technology and their safe keeping.

The City itself is a blend of rustic stone work and advanced magic based technology when it comes to architecture. The main city of Illryis is called Quilytist - or Quil for short, and hosts the largest population. The rest of the planet is filled with smaller cities and villages that lean more to the structures of the past. Quil is only upgraded so much due to the influence of the star gates.

As previously mentioned their society is deeply rooted in tradition. The government is run by a Council Senate of 7 Guardian clan families - each clan has a Head or Scion who stands as their representation on the council. These Scions also act as a supreme Guardian for their world - each Scion being doubly powerful in both Maejik (Magic) and Influential Power. The seats on the council are not one of elected power either, instead they are chosen by 'Right' this right is given by the Guardian Familia Summons each of the Scion Families are linked to. At one time in Illryis' past nearly all citizens of the planet could use the ancestral magic of summons, but over time for reasons unknown - this ancestral magic has faded and practically only the Scion Families have it. Each of the 7 Scion Families represent and hold one of the 7 base energies of their world. Fire, Water, Air, Earth, Light, Shadow and Soul. Each of the 7 clans have a different type of Summon Family Summon. And each Council seat is only passed on to the next family member who has the strongest will over these guardians. At times this is decided by a fight between the Flegling Summoners of each family.

Magi - Tech University

The Illryians also developed one of the best Magi-Tech schools in all verses, one which gather's students from all over to study and enhance their grasp on all facets of Magical force. This school is actually located on one of the three Moons of Illryis and practically takes up the entire surface and supports it's own atmosphere. Upon graduation students are allowed the choice to join the Guardian Force (GF) which helps the Guardians to blanket - protect all those under their peace and ally treaties.

Aegean Flynt is the headmaster of Magi-Tech University. He is a quiet man who tends to be seen studying books as he walks around the campus. He is the younger brother of Fenrik Flynt and would have been the current Water Scion had he not thrown the fight between him and his brother to persue his life as a professor and headmaster of the school.

The school itself was like a city unto itself they have a market and many shops, cafes and the like in the Fountain Square that were staffed by either former or current students who had free classes,. They have many towers and wings dedicated to various types of magic classes. At least 20 assembly halls, and resident housing for professors and dorms for teachers.
